INLAND VALLEY PROJECT
She started out wanting to make a small change to her remodeled tiny bath – a teak bench where she could shave her legs. By the time she completed the project, she had the divine home spa of her dreams.
A MrSteam representative recently made some lifestyle changes. Her busy life means that she is out on the road most days of the week. Longing for a healthier approach, she turned vegan in the fall of last year, reducing her body’s toxins. So when it came to her bathroom remodel, she was ripe to embrace greater wellness in her life.
Her extremely small bathroom didn’t provide space to sit
comfortably, and MrSteam’s teak folding wall seat seemed like the perfect solution. At first, she didn’t intend to add steam to her remodel. But the lure of health was too strong, and after all, she had been representing MrSteam products for many years. So, she decided the final result would be well worth it – as it indeed proved to be!
She decided on a transitional design for her remodeled tiny space, which included classic subway white tile with taupe grout, and a neutral colored tile that pulled in the beige and gray. The teak seat that started the project fits in perfectly with that coloring – an unplanned bonus. Not only does it give her a warm, comfortable seat while in the steam shower, it also perfectly complements the new design.
Her thoughts about the completed renovation: “It feels divine. It’s clean, it looks smart, but most importantly, I love having my own private spa!”
