The bathroom should be a place where you love to spend time in, an indulgent oasis that purifies and rejuvenates your body while washing away the stresses of the outside world. You deserve to come home to a beautiful, relaxing space that balances your mind, body and spirit.

Through Ancient teachings, we have learned of the holistic benefits of the natural elements. The Three Elements of Color, Light and Essences, including the traditional Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water are evident in all good design.  When the elements in your home are in balance it enhances your life. The Zen Bathroom is the prefect balance of elements and design.

Mr.Steam’s® full spectrum Chromasteam™ mood lighting system and Aromasteam™ aromatic essential oils system renews mind, body and spirit.

The Three Elements of Color, Light & Essence
Color, Light and Essence have been recognized for centuries as having profound healing effects. The colors we surround ourselves and the essences we anoint ourselves with can help stimulate, relax or empower us.
Chakra or energy center (pronounced shah-krah) is a Sanskrit word meaning “Wheel of Light”. It refers to the body’s seven major energy centers which are positioned along the spinal column. Each chakra has a unique function that corresponds to a specific Color and Essence.  Beginning with the Root Chakra at the base of spine and continuing up to the Crown Chakra on top of the head.
These energy portholes regulate the flow of energy in and out of our body. When they are in balance, there is harmony between your physical, emotional and spiritual body.

Mr.Steam offers Chromasteam and Chakra Essences as part of its Spa Package to assist in maximizing your well-being.

Hippocrates, the Father of Western Medicine was well aware of the holistic benefits of the Three Elements of Color Light and Essence. In fact he incorporated Chroma and Aroma Therapy in his practice. He directed different colored lights on to his patient’s ailing bodies as well as prescribed Aromatherapy for their baths.

The Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water
The Zen Bathroom is defined by clean lines combined with essences, organic textures and colors drawn from nature. All of its objects and Elements are properly placed. Clutter — in the room or in the mind — has to be eliminated. The Zen Bathroom supports you holistically with the perfect balance of Elements.

Ancient cultures were also aware of the importance of creating a balanced environment.  For centuries the Chinese have been practicing the   “Chinese Art of Object Placement” or Feng Shui. When the elements are in perfect balance, it balances the occupant’s mind, body, spirit and physical well-being.
